How the Steadline review works

Steadline is a bounded review layer used when delivery works but the handoff decision is still unclear.

Bounded review No implementation Start from intake

The method

1. Intake

The team sends one delivery state: what is being delivered, current stage, who receives it, what feels unclear or risky, and what decision is needed next.

2. Fit gate

The case is accepted only if there is one delivery state, one clear review object, and one bounded decision to define.

3. Review pass

The review separates what is actually finished, what remains risky, what must be fixed first, and what the next safe step is.

4. Decision output

The result is a bounded artifact, not a vague analysis.

Outputs

Confirmed completed scope

What is safe to rely on.

Explicit unresolved risks

What remains risky or unclear.

Priority fix sequence

What must be fixed first.

Single next safe step

What happens next.

Final verdict

Safe, not safe, or conditional.

  • Ongoing advisory
  • Project management
  • Broad consulting
  • Hidden scope expansion
